Heat-away embroidery stabilisers are used when there is a retractable support, but it is not possible to wash and therefore hydrosoluble supports cannot be used.
These products are divided mainly in two categories: Thermo-Film and Thermo-Gauze.
Thermo-Film allows you to create wonderful embroideries without having to remove the tear-off support, as it melts completely in contact with heat. It is especially suitable for all garments where a superior support is required, to improve the definition of the embroidery as in the case of small initials on shirts or cotton fabrics, or a lower support to have a completely clean back.
Thermo-Gauze is a chemically treated viscose fabric that melts completely in contact with heat, which is why it is excellent for fabrics that resist to it.
In this way you can create embroideries with a completely clean back, without having to proceed with classic tear-off stabilisers.
It is very suitable for macramé, perforated embroidery and with delicate characteristics such as those of a lace embroidery.
